The winning ticket, purchased at Casey’s General Store in Cortland, matched all six numbers: 1, 5, 17, 39, 62, and the Mega Ball 8. This marks Illinois’ 16th Mega Millions jackpot win since 2002.
The winner can opt for the full jackpot amount or a lump sum of $159.1 million. The next drawing on March 28 will feature a starting jackpot of $20 million.
